Radovan Bernard

At BERNARD LEGAL Radovan Bernard is responsible for the sphere of corporations law, employment (labor) law, law of mergers, acquisitions and company restructuring projects including tax optimization, law of real estate. He is also responsible for complex project management including legal due diligence. Radovan has been in charge of or participated in some major legal projects, for example in the sphere of processing industry, real estate, refineries, food industry, telecommunications, glass industry and other industrial and business branches, prepared and implemented for both Czech and foreign investors and state institutions. Prior to the founding of BERNARD LEGAL Radovan gained valuable practical experience during his more than 12-year carreer in international law offices, initially in Altheimer & Gray (1997 – 2003), and later on in Salans (2003 – 2009). He has also participated as an attorney in various projects implemented abroad.

In addition to his eduction from law schools, Radovan has also a background in engineering; which represents a unique combination of legal expertise with a perfect understanding of technical and business aspects and becomes very useful for clients who resolve projects involving technical aspects.

Radovan has been also active in the academic field, whether as a lecturer at the Department of European and Business Law of the Czech University of Economics (until 2009), or as an external lecturer at other universities. He focuses on the EU law.
